Review

Reading Time, Vol 46 No 4, p. 17.
If you want the young reader to absorb information through easily digested illustrated stories than these two books [Rodney Thinks of Food and Mad Dog the Chef’s Flea Free Feast] will serve the purpose admirably. … Gordon Winch’s book is a fun story about a young bull called Rodney who has an appetite problem amongst other things and needs help with his attitude. The noises that he creates at both ends need attention. Rumination is the fundamental cause of the noise. With the problems under control Rodney manages to escape the butcher’s knife and win a prize at the Royal Easter Show.

I think these books break new territory and deserve to succeed.
