A teacher, writer, editor and musician, Mark is well known for his books, conference and workshop presentations exploring literacy, movement, rhyme, music and drama. Mark was Highly Commended in the National 2005 Dromkeen Librarian’s Award which read –‘whose success in bringing literary experiences to the school community through Music, Drama and Writing is inspirational’.

With an impressive list of awards Mark has teamed up with some of the biggest names in Australian and international children’s publishing.

Mark’s hobbies include surfing, playing the guitar and bush walking. Mark recently walked the cradle mountain track in Tasmania for his birthday.
