Janet Wolf

Illustrator

Janet started writing and illustrating picture books in her native NY back in 1981. While teaching fine art to children at a Long Island school, she published five picture books.

In 1992, she illustrated “Rosie and the Yellow Ribbon” which won a Christopher Award. In 1994, she moved to Melbourne, Australia after meeting her future husband on a train from NY to Washington, DC! Janet loved creating Gertie especially her red and white stockings. She had to do hours of research in books, because she is yet to meet a real witch. She still lives in Brunswick with husband Peter and their 12 year old son, Jacob.
